Virgin River Walkway

Accessed at the southwest corner of our RV park, the Virgin River Walkway is a level, paved trail that parallels the Virgin River from Bloomington to St. George. The multi-use path is ideal for biking, jogging, walking, and rollerblading.

 
Indian Petroglyphs

PetroglyphsThe Little Black Mountain Petroglyph Site, located just south of St. George over the Arizona border, features over 500 individual rock art designs representing approximately 6,000 years of human habitation. The work of several different cultures, the site shows representations of bear paws, lizards and turtles.

Tuacahn Outdoor Amphitheater

PetroglyphsKnown as “Broadway in the Desert,” the Tuacahn Outdoor Amphitheater presents four musicals per year in a scenic red rock setting. Past productions have included Fiddler on the Roof, Annie Get Your Gun, Peter Pan, South Pacific and My Fair Lady. Located only 10 minutes from our RV Campground, we offer packages that include tickets to one of Tuacahn’s productions.

 
St. George Musical Theater

St. George Musical TheaterAnother option for live musicals, the St. George Musical Theater presents a regular season of six musicals per year in addition to a two productions during the summer. The St. George Musical Theater has presented productions such as Hello Dolly, Annie, Guys and Dolls and The Foreigner in the past.

Dinosaur Tracks

PetroglyphsOnly a 10-minute drive from our RV Park, the St. George Dinosaur Discovery Site at Johnson Farm displays some of the oldest and best-preserved dinosaur tracks on earth – more than 1,000 of them! The site also displays numerous fossilized dinosaur remains.

 
Historic Sites/Museums

St. George is full of pioneer-era historic sites, including the St. George LDS Temple, the St. George Tabernacle, the Jacob Hamblin Home and the Brigham Young Winter Home. Visitors can tour the temple grounds and enjoy exhibits at its visitor center. LDS missionaries provide free guided tours of the two restored pioneer residences. The Daughters of Utah Pioneers Museum exhibits artifacts from southwestern Utah’s early settlers Chronicling the natural history of Utah and many other parts of the world, the Rosenbruch Wildlife Museum displays over 200 species of wildlife in natural-looking dioramas.

Fiesta Family Fun Center

PetroglyphsLocated just around the corner from our RV park, the Fiesta Family Fun Center offers participants of all ages fun diversions, including a miniature golf course, go-karts, batting cages, an arcade and bumper boats, among other attractions.

 
Shopping

PetroglyphsBargains hunters will enjoy the Zion Factory Stores, located approximately three miles from our RV Park. The well-known shopping center features over 30 factory outlets, including Downeast Outfitters, Eddie Bauer, Factory Brand Shoes, Polo Ralph Lauren, and Van Heusen. Other major shopping centers include Red Cliffs Mall and the Promenade at Red Cliff, located across the street from the Zion Factory Stores.

Golf

PetroglyphsA popular spot for golf getaways, the St. George area is home to nine golf courses, two of which Golf Digest Magazine lists among its top five courses in Utah: Entrada at Snow Canyon and Coral. Our RV campground offers golf packages at several of these courses. Our staff will be happy to help you schedule a tee time!

 
ATV Tours

PetroglyphsIf you are looking to get away from the crowds, schedule an ATV tour with a local outfitter. ATV tours provide one-of-a-kind views of southern Utah’s backcountry, including red sandstone formations of many shapes and sizes and breathtaking views of Zion National Park’s monoliths, the canyon country of the Arizona Strip and the Pine Valley Mountains.

Cinema 6 Theatre

PetroglyphsOnly a two-minute walk from Temple View RV Resort, the Cinema 6 screens first-run Hollywood films in a stadium theater with reclining seats.

 
Fishing

PetroglyphsWhen you stay at our RV campground, do not forget to bring your fishing pole. Within a 20-40 minute drive lie Baker Dam Reservoir, Gunlock Reservoir, Pine Valley Reservoir, Quail Creek Reservoir, and Sand Hollow Reservoir. At these bodies of water, anglers will have the chance to land cutthroat, rainbow and brown trout as well as bass, bluegills, and catfish.

Snow Canyon State Park

A 20-minute drive northwest of Temple View RV Resort will take you to Snow Canyon State Park, a collection of red sandstone rock formations that boasts trails suitable for all levels of hikers.

If you want to relax after a day of hiking, golfing, or shopping, schedule a massage, facial, or pedicure at one of the St. George’s day spas.
